I've been on it 3 weeks (20mgs). I get very tired an hour or 2 after taking it. Doc says i can switch to bedtime.
Should i give it a longer time to wear off?
Or would taking it at bedtime perhaps help my morning anxiety? What is your experience?

Paxil gave me back my life from panic disorder and was just an absolute blessing. When I stopped taking it 3 years later, I went from 50 mg to zero (no one was talking tapering at that time) with no withdrawal effects.
In answer to your question-it made a huge difference when I took the Paxil-if I took it at about 2 in the afternoon, everything was great. For convenience, and because I convinced myself it didn't matter, I would try taking it at other times of the day and it was always accompanied by anxiety-so I'd go back to 2 PM until the next time I decided it didn't matter (live and don't learn, that's my motto)...so yes, my experience is that it matters a great deal when you take Paxil.
The two things that have worked well for me for morning anxiety/nightmares are 0.1-.3 mg of melatonin or 0.5 mg Ativan just before bed for a few weeks. I didn't experience any withdrawal discomfort from Ativan, either.
Good luck-and if I might suggest, address that morning anxiety soon-it screws up the day more than you might imagine-at least, that was my experience. Starting the day fearful/anxious sort of sets the tone for the day...
