Can someone please post the MAOI diet.

Can someone please post the MAOI diet?

I am having another hypertensive episode and it's pretty bad. I don't even know what I ate that would cause it. I've taken 100 mg of thorazine. If it does not improve within the hour, I am going to the hospital.

The thorazine kicked it in and I was okay. I was exhausted though from the thorazine. It wouldn't have been so bad except I had one the next day!

Thanks for caring.

Sometime ago, I typed up the Sunnybrook Health Science Center MAOI Diet as published in Gardner DM, Shulman KI, Walker SE, Tailor SA. The making of a user friendly MAOI diet. J Clin Psychiatry. 1996 Mar;57(3):99-104. This is based on research into the actual tyramine content of food rather than anecdotal evidence (e.g., the no chianti rule).

I tried to copy the formatting as closely as possible as the original. Anyone who wants a copy can find it here:
