Adderall is much more stimuating in terms of its "I" isomer of amphetamine, rather than dexedrine with only the 'd' isomer which is the more active.

Desoxyn is very mentally stimulating. Less physical stimulation but more brain stimulation compared to adderall. This medication can cause damage in high doses to dopamine receptors in high doses, since it is methamphetamine.

Ritilin is really causes anxiety more than stimulaton. I have been on it 11 years ago when i was in the 8th grade. It can cause agitation more.

Dexedrine maybe be a better option, but if you read my post below.

Thats my put

For my adult ADD:
Ritalin (any form) caused anxiety; wore off too quickly, even extended release forms; moodiness

Adderall worked pretty well, relatively low dose; lasted a few hours longer than Ritalin with fewer mood swings when wearing off.

Provigil though not technically for ADD, I experienced significant cognitive improvements while on it.

Focalin is what I am currently prescribed. Extended release, lasts all day until around 8ish. Is said to cause moodiness when it wears off but I haven't noticed that. Am on lowest dose which works fine. No anxiety.

Is that Focalin (Methylphenidate D-isomer) IR? lasts untill 8? WOW!, Methylphenidate (D@L isomer) lasts a couple hours) usually.

On the Remedyfind website, (ADD/HD) the reviewers have rated Desoxyn (Methylamphetamine Hcl) the highest in effectiveness in relieving symptoms.

Dextroamphetamine is next, followed by Adderall, then methylphenidate.

I guess it's time to see my PsyDoc and enquire about other treatments, althought my PcDoc has mentioned Strattera, which i have read mixed reviews about.

Cheers
