Any experiences with vivactil? Weight changes? Sexual side-effects? Bad or Good interactions with other meds? Did it get rid of depression or thoughts of suicide by itself? Thanks.

Vivactil is an old tricyclic far as I know. It worked well for me. This was before mood stabilizers were popular. The only issues were the usual anticolenergic joys.
Unfortunately, Diane Arbus, the photographer didn't do as well.

Very potent caffeine, I think. I tried to take it recently for seasonal affective disorder but it made me very very irritable. I don't recall that side-effect. I can't decide if it is because of recent treatments for a medical problem (hemochromatosis) which has made many of my reactions to meds change or, if vivactil doesn't get along with provigal.
I honestly just want off the SSRIs because I want to cut back calories and all them make me crave sweets.
