I saw my Pdoc Yesterday , he agreed with me
about taking abilify. I saw the prescription
and it says 10mg per day in the mornings.
Don´t you think this is a very high dose to
start it ??
I split one pill and took only 5mg. I still think
5mg is a lot rigth ? Do you believe I should
lower the dose to 2.5mg.??I feel very tired yesterday in my first dose.
I thought about taking abilify at nigths but
I have just read that it can cause insomnia so I
better gonna take it in the morningsTEP

Hi Tepi
10mg would be a suitable starting dose for the treatment of schizophrenia. I don't think it was a suitable starting dose for you though. 2.5mg/day sounds reasonable.
How's the Paxil going?

I have bipolar and OCD, 10mgs would be to much for me.
At 5mgs it gave me akathisia.
So now I've started back on 2.5mgs every morning.Good Luck & Happy New Year... :-)

hello guys.
Last nigth I took abilify before bed and I
had not a good sleep. I did this because
i feel very sedated the first days after
the abilify dose (mornig)
My Pdoc told me to return Nardil. Im gonna
do it soon or later I believe. I dont
think there is other drug out there which
could help me. Im a worried because even
with Nardil I was not a happy normal person.
He also told me that he hasn´t seen anyone
like me . He has been 40 years as a doctor
That was very though for me. What am I suppose
to do?
I wish this had been only temporary , like some
depressions of 6 months, why all my life and
why even with drugs I dont feel well.
I dont understand why me

Hi Edi , yes I believe I should give Paxil a Fair trial.Ed do you think I would be worth to try Remeron?
Im looking for something different to a SSRI.
Doc mentioned Remeron and also Lexapro. Which one
do you believe would be the best in my case. I have fell the same way with all the SSRIS I have tried. With tolvon was a little different, not good but different . Im sick of feeling the same. Im looking forward to trying drugs with differents
mechanism of action.Do you know something about Tianeptine? this one is not in the mexico market but I could buy it in the US if it is already available.
I dont know how different is cymbalta from efexor. that´s another option.

Remeron is similar to Tolvon, but perhaps a bit more sedating.

It's not marketed in the US either. Tianeptine is a French drug. It's available in France and various other countries. It's also available from some internet pharmacies.

I'm not sure. The risk of agitation seems to be dependent on the dose, high doses being more likely to cause restlessness and agitation.

Yes, they both affect NE.

I have taken it two times before bed and I couldnt sleep so Im better taking in mornings.
I haven´t feel anything good from abilify. Im on 2.5mg. Im gonna be more time on it , maybe i will change paxil
