It's wonderful stuff. Not everyone agrees, but for me - wonderful, great stuff for which I am very grateful.

I have Social Anxiety (primary) and Generalized Anxiety (secondarily). It didn't help me with either at 10 mgs. Was quite activating. Everyone is different. It's supposed to be a more potent Celexa.

Just wanted you to know that Lex is a-okay with me so far. I remember you recently telling me how well it was helping you!

I still need clonazepam but I'm still getting better sleep, and I have less constipation and sweating than from Effexor. Sexual side effects almost seem to be non-existent.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's a good long-term med for me too.

Happy Holidays!

Colleen, I'm so very happy for you and thanks so for the update.

I was just sitting here thinking how very lucky I am. Agoraphobia was wretched for me and today, as in Christmas EVE - I went to the mall just for the h*ll of it - really I was all finished up and did it for "fun". It was a great feeling.

I do still use Klonopin from time to time, also..... Mainly to help relax tension. The tension thing is a combo deal with anxiety as a stubborn factor and reactive muscles with osteoarthritis.

Lex has been good to me and it is my hope it will be a good one for you, too. Nine months and counting for my use.

Happy Holidays to you and yours....

I have taken celexa and now Lexapro for over 5 years for depression. It has provided no relief for GAD in fact the reverse. SSRIs have diferent effects on everyone. I take 2MG of Klonopin daily with the Lex. Without the K, the side effects of lexapro (insomnia etc) make anxiety worse. I know many people who have a hard time tolerating 2.5 mg day of Lex. Take it slow and keep expaectations realistic. Good luck.
