allergies?
Is it all possible that all my allergies could trigger this anxiety?
I notice I either feel like I'm in a total state of "head fog" or I feel anxious lately.
Then I find out I'm allergic to nearly every outdoor thing they tested me for.
Any ideas?

Don't know your IgE do you Spriggy? (Can you get tested for IgG?)
I have both (allergies, head fog) so them happening together sounds OK to me.
I think the IgE level is supposed to be <50. Mine's around 850. There seems to be no straightforward and easy way to bring it down, but avoiding allergens, avoiding toxicity, healthy diet etc seems to help.
My nut. dr said he had a patient with an IgE level of something like 80,000. She came to him covered by weeping sores. They managed to get the IgE level below 1000 with a very strict diet and supplements, but couldn't get it lower after that.
IgE, IgG stand for Immunoglobulin E and G and are markers for reactivity and allergies.

Whenever I'm not feeling well with allergy and sinus related woes, my anxiety does seem to upramp. In fact, feeling unwell in general can cause this.
Are you taking any spinup meds for this? I have to be really careful with pseudofed. Great stuff, but can cause the hibbies in me.
I tend to get hyperviligent over how I'm physically feeling - in particular when I'm unwell -and I think this just begins the flood of my anxiety symptoms. I'm sure there's pathophysiology behind the rationale but I feel like the mind body connection is so close, mine both react. I realize that's a bit of a simplistic way to view it, but I think it's true for me.

I have been tested for allergies and yes, I am allegic to everything, too... ALL trees, grass, most foods... Good grief.
YES! My anxiety is profoundly attached to my allergies - PROFOUNDLY.
If you can afford it, Claritin works pretty good, but only if you can take it everyday... I was on it for years, until it went off prescription... helped my migraines immensely. Benadryl works in conjuntion with my Xanax during allergy/anxiety days.
I hope that you get to feeling better soon. Allergies suck.

Loratadine (Generic Claritin) is much cheaper now than when it first went off prescription. I'm pretty much allergic to everything on the planet, also.

Makes you wonder about the connection between allegies and anxiety, huh? I know a lot of people that suffer chronically from both. Is it more than a coincidence?
