I know Klonopin takes more time to take effect, but when it reaches its peak, does it work similarly to Xanax in anti-panic wise.
Klonopin makes me feel lousy, at 2mg. Sometimes at 1mg.
I havent asked much about Xanax becuase it has a short half life.
Xanax XR?
Does anyone know some information.
Greatly Appri.
Matt

i've only taken plain xanax. it kicks in fast, which is great if you need it right away. i liked that for panic. that was usually all that i needed. take one; it kicked in; didn't need another one.
i felt more normal (whatever that means) and in control with xanax. with klonopin, i am not as edgy. somebody made the point that xanax treats panic, while klonopin prevents it altogether (my bad paraphrase.) but that's kind of how i feel about the klonopin. i find klonopin helps with calming my thinking. but if i end up having panic, it's a pain to wait 10 mins for it to kick in when xanax would have kicked in in 1 min.
i've tried ativan several years ago. it made me feel like crud. lots of residual i don't know what, but i didn't like it at all. depends on your body chemistry i guess.

Link, they have a new wafer xanax that melts on your tongue. Also put xanax under your tongue it works faster then. I hate klonopin! Fondly, Phillipa
