My body is finally starting to uncontort after a few weeks of medication holliday. I am finally able to unstuck my head if it gets stuck to the left. I am still working on starting to walk straight again. I have a hard time walking without tipping to either side.
For a brief second my doctor had me believing that this was a result of anxiety!
Trust your instincts folks.

It was, of course, always my decision to take these medications, but I all I can ask for is that doctors not to prescribe these things under the pretences that they are as safe as water.

I agree Linkage. Several years back i was put on several diff. meds and had terrible side effects, everytime i went to the pdoc to tell him, he just added another drug to offset the side effect from the prev. one. It was unbelievable. Finally, (like you) i just decided something wasnt right and threw all the meds away. I went through some major withdrawl effects, but once that subsided i felt better for about a year or 2. Unfortunately my symptoms returned and i finally went to a diff. pdoc who made me realize how important it is to go by your gut instinct.

Link, Let's march on the White House! No more meds! No more incompetent pdocs! Of course some people couldn't live in society without meds. I know this from working in psych. But a lot of us are attempting to medicate life's problems away. I know my brain is benzo fried. Fondly, Phillipa

>Glad it was only for a brief moment. It`s always "the anxiety" with these docs, is never the pills and the malfunctions they cause on essential brain functions. Of course not! They prescribed them. They must be good and the drug companies agree. 100 years from now this stuff will be viewed the same way we view the medicine of the 1800s which involved barber surgeons and leaches, eg. bleeding...
