Just wanted to report that I am still having some success with Lyrica for generalized anxiety. I did gain tolerance quite quickly but took some time off of it and it does seem to stil work, though not like it originally did. It is defintely safer and easier to come off of than benzos. There are nearly no withdrawl symptoms.
I highly rec. this med for anxiety or pain. I also suffer fibromyalgia.

It should be on the shevles in the US soon. It is the successor to Neurontin : pregabalin.

Lunesta:
I suffer greatly from GAD and panic. Can you give me a specific idea of how this drug worked for you
(like which symptoms did it alleviate and to what degree)? How does it compare to SSRIs, if you've taken any of those? Thanks,

What dose of Lyrica are you on? Did you ever take Neurontin and how did you do on it? - dose, poop-out, pain, side effects, muscle relaxation, etc. Do you see a similar profile with Lyrica if you took Neurontin?
I am anxiously (literally and figuratively) awaiting Lyrica to hit the shelves in the U.S. Neurontin made me too groggy and tolerance hit quickly and weight gain was too much piled on the weight gain from other meds. I'm on a trial of Topamax right now to see if that will ease the pain of FMS until Lyrica becomes available. Too early in the dosage trial to tell.
