Anyone on this combo for depression?
Any successes? (side, effects)?

I take 30mg Cymbalta and 150mg Wellbutrin XL, and have done for some months now. We're still in the tweaking stage, but it's got my depression under control.
The Cymbalta caused a fair amount of lethargy, which is why we reduced from 60mg to 30mg. So far, so good. I'm feeling brighter and less depressed than on 50mg, because I'm not so lethargic.
Some agitation, some anxiety, but that's me -- not the meds! I've got some incredibly upsetting things going on in my life, which are enough to send me over the edge, so the fact that I'm still on solid ground so far is a pretty clear answer about the success of this combo!

I just started taking Wellbutrin 150mg with Cymbalta 60mg. I will increase to 300mg Wellbutrin after 5 days. I also take 1.25mg Klonopin daily, so I hope this offsets any anxiety/aggitation that "could" be caused by the Wellbutrin since my anxiety is bigger than my depression. I'll let you know how it goes.

Cymbalta 120 + wellbutrin 300 work well for me. No weight gain and a bit more motivation.

Weight gain, ah there's a subject. I've gained a ton and a half -- about 25 to 30 pounds.
But...
I'm being treated for more than depression and anxiety. I'm also being treated for Anorexia Nervosa, so gaining weight is something I'm supposed to be trying to do.
I don't know how much of that weight gain is med-related, but I suspect some portion may be. My motivation to eat is -- at best -- variable, and even during periods of restricting I'm still gaining. Of course, that could be because my metabolism hasn't recovered from extended starvation yet. Dunno? Maybe there's a Cymbalta link to it.

I need to add something to give me some energy .I take 60mg Cymbalta, I can't take Wellbutrin because I'm allergic to it. What about Strattera and Cymbalta? Any thoughts on this combo?
