SSRI poll, morning or evening ?

Who here takes their SSRI in the morning, and who in the evening ?

Have you tried the opposite ?, what is your reason for the timing ?

I take my Prozac in the morning. I find it too activating to take at night as I find it tends to mess up my sleep architecture if I take it too late.

Hi,

Tried both, doesn't make the slightest bit of difference for me.

AM, but i think maybe I tried it at night a few times? it doesn't seem to matter for me, but maybe that is because SSRI's don't do quite enough for me. :(

In the morning. Lexapro is too activating to take at night.

morining, so that any withdrawal symtoms I get as the dosing time approches is while I'm asleep, and is gone before I get to work.

I take mine in the morning (or late-afternoon, depending on when I wake-up). I have never tried taking it at night. I take it in the morning because that's what the psychiatrist who gave it to me 5 years ago told me to do.

I'm just a total zombie if I take my celexa in the morning. I've been taking it at 5pm, I have trouble sleeping but I can concentrate better the next day.

I was just wondering if others had the zombie/somnolene issue.

Prozac for me is like "turbo" time so definitely first thing in the am. It seems to peak around lunch time, by late evening I'm fine to sleep well.
