Has anyone tried this for SA?! Is it true that it might take it several months before it starts working ?!
Thanks,
Ted.

Hi Ted
I tried it for social anxiety but didn't get very far. The first two days were good. I felt very relaxed but also energised. I was able to sit down and read a novel without distraction.I tried 75mg and felt more energetic at this dose but when I lifted the dose to 300mg (2x150 per day) I had missed heart beats (and burps!)and could feel the heart beats. Even after going off the drug, I felt this for about a week.
It didn't do anything for my SA however I only lasted a couple of weeks. My energy levels dropped at this dose too.
I couldn't get to the high doses used in many studies, e.g.

I took Moclobemide for about a month went up to 600mgs, but perhaps I wasn't on it long enough.
I found it completely ineffective for both social anxiety and general anxiety, sorry I can't be more positive!
