I picked up some ativan from walgreens, 1mgers, and compared to the ativan i used to use to get in canada, this is a 0 out of 10. Whatever generic brand safeway in Canada dispenses gave me the greatest anxiety relief of anything Ive ever tried period!! Obviously somethings not right. Anybody else have experience and knows the best american generic and where to buy? Walmart, eckerd, etc? Maybe I should contact Walgreens about this if it is a widespread problem. Thanks

I've posted on this theme over the last few months. My experience was that the Mylan generic was vastly inferior to the American name brand Wyeth Ativan, and I gladly pay the much higher copay to get the "real thing".
You may want to search the archives, but I haven't seen anything that would indicate that any American generic is as good as the name brand.
(And a subtle point that likely shouldn't be discussed on these boards is that even different country's name brands may have differences.)
