I've taken the old Nardil since 93 at 90mg + Valium 15mg and later added 100mg of Neurontin. I have GAD, Avoident Personality Disorder and Dysthemia. It changed my life like the difference between night and day. It was truely amazing! Then Pfizer had to ruin the party by changing the formula in the fall of 2003. Now it only works about 50% as well as the old. A lot of us are very upset and we have a lawsuit in the works. I have been wondering if anyone has had success with Marplan and how much does it cost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had success w/ Marplan only after I augmented w/ thyroid hormone. Then it pooped out when I moved (highly stressful). I'm seeing a new pdoc on Monday and will ask to raise the dose.
I don't know how much it costs because I have insurance. You could try calling your local drugstore or finding a place online that sells it.
The only major SE I had was low blood pressure/dizziness. I lowered the dose because of it, but now I think that was a mistake.
