Hi All,
Do any of you suffer from morning headaches? I've been having to deal with some intense and painful headaches in the morning. The one I had this morning was pretty bad. Sometimes they're worse than others, but they're becoming pretty common for me which is frustrating. I got them after starting Effexor, but then I got pregnant then too, so it's hard to tease out the drug vs the hormonal changes of pregnancies, (though I'm no longer pregnant).I've been hitting them with 600mgs of Ibuprofin.
Once I get up and get going they dissipate.Anyone else?

Do these headaches actually wake you up or start after you get up?

They wake me up and are awful. I've had them about 3 times a week. This Saturday it was god awful, so painful, the worst I've had.

Hi starlight -
Keep in mind you are talking to a hypochondriac here - but my doctor has told me that when you have headaches that wake you up out of your sleep that you should really see a doctor. I would suggest making an appointment as soon as you can. Keep me posted!
