Hey Ace!

After discontinuing Nardil because of intense insomnia, I switched over to Lexapro and am happy to say that after 45 days on Lexapro, my unipolar depression is gone! The first couple of weeks were totally horrible as I had to wait 15 days before I was able to start Lexapro and when I did so, I had intense fatigue, insomnia and flu-like symptoms in which every bone in my body were aching. I had no energy, no appetite, no motivation and becoming more and more sleep deprived and depressed. I was ready to throw in the towel, but decided to give Lexapro at least 8 weeks to prove itself to me. Well, in 45 days, a little more than 6 weeks, my patience paid off and am now as depression free as I have ever been in quite a long time. So for all you new Lex users, please give it time and hopefully, Lex will work for you too.
