Hi to everybody here my friend told me 2 post here bc its the best site for bipolar which I have bc my doctor put me on Depacote and Ritalin. I go to Internet chat room alot and I just got here and can I ask can Anyone tell me about the medacation my doctor gqave to me? I see that there are alot of questions for SLS and Sad Panda and Chemist and Lorily and KaraS. Can you tell me about Depacote and Ritalin bc my doctor tryed to explain it but I can understandd that Depacote is supposed to calm me down and Ritalin is supposed to wake me up and this DOES NOT MAKE SENSE or am I wrong, I think they cancel each other.

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you. Just kidding. As a unipolar, that's really out of my range. I'm not sure about Lorily's expertise. Chemist has been banned from the boards for a week. Your best bet is to address SLS or Panda if they don't catch or pick up on this thread themselves. Good luck!

Also, there are several other incredibly bright people on this board who could help you a lot. (I just haven't interacted with them as much as with SLS and Panda.)

Yes, being banned means that you can't post. Chemist told a hostile poster where to get off (in a very articulate well mannered way I should add) but nonetheless he broke the rules. You get a first warning from Dr. Bob and it doesn't happen that often so don't worry about it. Better to proceed and get the help, information and/or support that you need.

But I don't want to name them in case I forget to list one. :) There are plenty of people that know far more about mood stabilizers than I do & have first hand experience in taking them. Ritalin & Depakote don't really cancel each other out as they work on different parts of the brain.
