I was pretty surprised to see this on the news just 15 or 20 minutes ago. Anyone else heard of it? Apparently it's a drug for tuberculosis that has shown a lot of promise in treating specific phobias when combined with exposure therapy. They say it won't be available for 2-5 years, but the racemic form is available... anyone else have any info?

only the racemate? what's the mechanism? never heard of it.....what have you got in re: info? thanks, and all the best, chemist

i've stuided this drug/therapy quite a bit. the original article i saw was on yahoo news last year... around...nov?
i still haven't tried it, only because the price is almost $500 for a small quantity IMO.
i know of a source, but thats not allowed to be posted.
