Effexor XR

Posted by Sinnielou on April 18, 2004, at 11:25:18

I've read alot of the messages posted on this board and I thought I'd like to share my results from taking Effexor.....
I started taking Effexor XR 7 months ago and I started with 37.5 mg then a month later I was increased to 75mg now I'm at 150mg in the am another 75mg in the evening and I also take 7.5 mg of Apo-Zopiclone before bed. I have found I have great success with Effexor when I split the dosage up between am and pm. I like alot of other in this community have experienced sexual side effects well I have to, but I consider it a small price to pay considering I feel better mentally.

Hi Sinnielou,

I am on Effexor + Remeron and I am mostly fine. Remeron is a sedating AD that fixed my anorgasmia problem too. Consider trialing it instead Apo-Zopiclone as Remeron provides high quality sleep & actually found to improve sleep patterns in sleep studies.

Cheers,
Panda.
