The waiting game on meds is awful, that's for sure. Most meds take 4-6 weeks before you feel the full effects, and all you can do is swallow the pill each day hoping to feel better soon.

But, I can assure you the wait is worth it! I'm willing to bet that you'll begin to feel better very soon. Your body is just adjusting to the new meds. Once that happens, your mood will improve significantly.

I started taking lexapro about 5 wks ago, and it wasn't until about week 4 that I really began to feel better. The side effects were uncomfortable...nausea, insomnia, tired all the time, no appetite, night sweats...but most of the side effects are gone now. You aren't going to feel sick to your stomach and tired for much longer.

In the meantime, take good care of yourself.

K.
