I saw Carol mentioned head "zaps" above. I have never met a doc that knew what i was talking when describing this phenomenon. Maybe i didn't described it well enough. I get head "zaps" when discontinuing a med or when i have a flu.
What i'm wondering is if there is medical term for this. Anyone who knows? Causes?/tensor

I got these when I was being overmedicated on Effexor XR, but not since we got me stable at a lower dose.
It was a weird sensation, not *entirely* unpleasant, but weird nonetheless. My Pdoc knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned it.
