SORRY GUYS...JUST HAVE TO EXTOLL THE VIRTUES OF THIS BRILLIANT CARBON COMPOUND AGAIN!
NARDIL IS WORKING UNBELIEVABLY WELL FOR MY ANXIETY....BREATHTAKING....
EXAMPLE- WHEN NOT ON NARDIL I TAKE 10-20 BENZOS A WEEK...10 WEEKS BACK ON NARDIL I'VE TAKEN 1 XANAX IN 6 WEEKS! AND XANAX + NARDIL MAKES ME SO CALM AND RELAXED I COULD FEEL HAPPY IN A DEN WITH LIONS...I'D STILL GET EATEN BUT!
BEFORE NARDIL I WAS SO ANXIOUS EVERY TIME I LEFT MY HOUSE I USUALLY WALKED 10 METRES...THEN WENT HOME, BENZOS IN HAND AFRAID....I WOULD TRY AGAIN...MAYBE GET 20 METRES...THEN WALK HOME IN FRIGHT OF MY DEREALIAZTION AND EXTREME PHOBIC ANXIETY. MY UNI WORK WAS SUFFEREING- COULD BARELY SIT IN THE LECTURE HALL OR ALWASY SAT NEXT TO DOOR, SOMETIMES RUNNING OUT IN ANXIETY.
I WAS CONSTANTLY ON EDGE, LIFE WAS MISERY, COULD NEVER GO OUT AT NIGHT (UNLESS DRUNK)- LIFE WAS A PRISON OF FEAR AND DREAD....UNTIL NARDIL CAME IN TO SAVE MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NARDIL SMASHES FEAR...I GO OUT WHEN I WANT WHERE I WANT NOW. NO NEED TO RUN HOME IN FEAR OR SWALLOW 5 BENZOS OR TRY TO DRUG MYSELF TO SLEEP TO STOP THE TERROR. NONE OF THAT ANYMORE. I COULDN'T LIVE A NORMAL LIFE- I WAS TRAPPED AND MY SITATION WAS GETTING BLEAKER AND BLEAKER...UNTIL NARDIL SAVED ME!! I AM A FREE HAPPY MAN NOW...AND ITS THANKS TO NARDIL. NARDIL HAS GIVEN ME FREEDOM- SOMETHING EVERYONE NEEDS.I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HOW BRILLIANT NARDIL IS!!!

its incredible , time is passing and you are always talking about the good benefits you have had since you are taking the Nardil . It seems you never goona get tired about telling us how magic has been Nardil for you .

I am so glad this med is working so well for you. I don't think that I could take it, because I enjoy yogurt and chocolate. But, I really identified with the anxiety that use to suffer from. Have you experienced sexual side effects, fatigue or weight gain from the med?

With chocolate I eat A LOT- no probs! Yogurt I don't really eat, but I would give up any food for Nardil!

sexual side effects- yeah, but I can take pills for that and, in time, it passes.
fatigue- yep too. But that always passes in time.

Hi Shadow:
I was on Parnate for a couple of years and now taking Nardil. My understanding with yogurt is that as long as it is fresh there should be not problem and I never did stop eating yogurt and have never had a problem. Just look at the expiration date and see that it is recent. I didn't even give chocolate a thought, have eaten it, although I can certainly can live without it. Maybe I should have paid better attention to the diet, as I did not know that chocolate was on the MAOI diet. I do understand though that the diet is not as strict as it used to be. The only thing that I do miss, and will not eat is cheese. There isn't much else that I eat that is restricted. But this diet is a small price to pay to get relief from the anxiety and/or depression. Are you still suffering with the anxiety? Are you considering taking Nardil or just commenting? It is hard to tell from the way your post reads.

I'm pondering a switch from Celexa to Nardil or Parnate due to sexual side effects. I have some questions for you...
How would you compare the sexual side effects to an SSRI? is it worth the switch? Celexa pretty much handles my symptoms otherwise.
And what is this pill that you take to reversal sexual SE's? Relief for me alway came in powdered form but that's not a behavior I want to return to.

Nardil will be brilliant...but anorgasmia does happen quite a bit. It resolves with time usually or you can take a med to alleviate it. Parnate rarely has anorgasmia as a s/effect.
