I cry for help...AND NARDIL REPLIES....AGAIN!!!!!!

Posted by ace on October 22, 2003, at 20:48:14

Wow! Just shy of 3 weeks on this baby and the 'big' effects are kicking in. Last night I started feeling very happy...this morning I woke up with a grin...so wide I felt kinda silly! The Nardil calm, loving, and happy feeling is unmistakable!

Within days of restarting Nardil, I was no longer in a severe depression with extreme anxiety. I was no longer so disturbed as to be contemplating hospitilation. Within a week cognitive processes came back. Within 2 weeks finishing the uni semester became a reality again. And I was motivated enough to leave house, study etc.

Today phobic anxiety is greatly down, feeling very happy.

What can I say? Nardil is the best...it turns my unmedicated tormented mind into a flower! Being on Nardil is like being in the movie 'Pollyanna'- you guys seen it?!

Ace,
Nardil Champion!, 60mg.

I have followed your postings for a while, not all, but alot since about the beginning of the year. I don't recall all your changes and such. I do know this med, by your accounts, has been great for you. I am happy for you and PLEASE DON'T drop it again, if that's possible. Good and continued luck.

Ace, why are you sometimes dropping this? I'm with KellyD. Keep Nardil. Add and drop other things, but keep Nardil as a mainstay. Nothing succeeds like success.

Ace:

I too must ask why you keep dropping Nardil, as you are so euphoric each time you start it. Do you eventually lose that euphoria, or maybe it has a persistent and intolerable set of side effects for you? Possibly you feel so good that you don't think you need it? Please let us know in detail, if possible.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Guys,

This is my explanation: I am a fool! No! Just Kidding!

No- this is the reason(s): Nardil is so brilliant for so many parts of my life. Only my OCD needs help. It helps my GAD, Depersonalization syndrome, Phobic Anxiety, Social Phobia, Depression, Fearful thoughts, sleep, concentration, etc etc. And it helps these things very, very, much so. For instance, on Nardil my depression is 100% gone. I feel wonderful and motivated. Life is brilliant!

But Nardil makes me feel S00oooooo confident that I feel nothing will fail...I feel I can try any AD and have such a brilliant response and the new AD will kill my OCD too. So instead of augmenting Nardil for the OCD I behave like a fool and go off it! And when I go off it, I crash- big time. When I combined Zyprexa with it, there seemed to be some problem where I needed to adjust my dose- POOR little Ace! Stupidly, I used this as a reason to go off it!

Nardil improves Sooo many areas of my life- and it always works...I have never had a problem except when I had to lower the dose with Zyprexa.

Also, on Nardil the OCD is definately helped- 65-70% about. And the OCD cannot make me depressed when I'm on Nardil. It just is like an annoying fly. But sometimes the OCD is in remmision too.

I have got to tattoo 'I WILL NEVER STOP NARDIL' on everyone of my body parts!

Any comments/praise/abuse is welcome!

Love,
Ace.

"Any comments/praise/abuse is welcome!"

Comment: We all make foolish decisions, that's just plain normal.

Praise: You recognize the gift you have with your good Nardil response. Lucky indeed to find a med that works well for you.

Abuse: None, of course - those tatoos were abuse enough if they're on EVERY ONE of your body parts (sly grin, here)

Best to you, keep doing well!

It's great. No anorgasmia thus far, too. The libido is actually a little raised this time round, so I'm smiling!
