Hi. I am on several meds, have been on the same ones for about 4 months now. My problem is that several times a day, out of nowhere I am really short of breath, feel like I can't breath in, my chest gets really tight and for a few seconds my head spins and I feel like I'm in a dream. Every now and then my vision doubles and goes out of focus. I'm only 23, a little overweight but not too much.
The meds I am on are:
Prozac 10mg/day (stopped yesterday, makes me feel crazy)
Buspar 60 mg/day
Adderall XR 60 mg/day
Zyrtec 10 mg/day
Wellbutrin 300 mg/day
Multi vitamin dailyAnybody have any ideas if its the meds or not??? Help!

Hi: It might be the BuSpar. I take 30mg per day and get heart palpitations after the evening 15mg dose (for some reason not the the AM dose??). I also get dizzy and light headed/spacey, within 20 minutes of taking it and it lasts a full hour (both in the AM & PM). It is also possible that those are anxiety symptoms and not med side effects.

Ortostatic hipotension. when you stand up your pressure lower and to compensate, the heart goes stronger and faster. When you feel this again do a test. Go to a bed or sofa and lay down for 1-2 minutes and see what happens.

Could be the Adderall, too. 60 mg is a pretty hefty dose. I take 45mg/ day, and I don't get palpatations, but sometimes my heart does feel like it's racing.

Well for one adderall and prozac is a severe interaction bad combo,wellbutrin is a antidepressant so is prozac again bad combo.All the meds your on cause rapid heatrbeat,high blood pressure and other heart related problems.Your doctor is a idiot prescribing all those meds together,you should go to www.drugs.com they have a drug interactions checker,go there and put your meds in there and get them checked.
