Hi all , since today I raise my dose to 60mg , my doctor told me to stay at 60mg for 2 weeks.
Nardil was working well , in the first 4 weeks then it pooped out.
I feel so impotent and very sad .
Do you think Im going to recover the good response to nardil?
How much time to kick in again ??An stupid question. My first bottle of Nardil was only made bye Parke-Davis . Its curious but since I started to take the bottle manufacturated by Pfizer and Parke-Davis , the anxiety returned.
Its stupid to think this could had been the reason of the poop out
But I dont lose anything asking your thougths about this ??
Does exist the posibilitie of any change little change in the medicine? . (stupid question ,sorry,but what do you think?)Greetings from Mexico

You could possibly see any of those company names on your Nardil bottle. There should be no difference in the medication...for what it's worth I responded better to 60mg than 45mg (or 75mg for that matter) The majority of people stay at 60mg, some need up to 90mg.

thank you for yor reply , Ive been 3 days on 60mgs and seems my anxiety is decreasing again.
Anyway I dont see much improvement in my depression .
Do you think Nardil could help me to bring my hapiness again ??
Im afraid of the poop out again .I read about one person who said that every time that the nardil pooped out he had to raise the dose to the point that he reached the dose of 210mg/day , wow that is too high dont you think?

>Not a stupid question! Many people in the US order from or go to Mexico and Canada for meds because they are so expensive here. I just read that many drugs coming into the US from other countries are counterfeit/adulterated/not as potent.
The pharm. manufacturers are doing everything they can think of to keep drug prices high. Scaring people away from imported drugs by claiming they are dangerous is a good tactic. But maybe you *did* get a bottle that was less powerful.

>Well, I hope that Nardil will allow you to reach a point in you your life where you feel happy. I can only speak of my experience with Nardil, which was VERY positive. I took 60mg...for 3 years...
210mg is ridiculous, that dose suggests something other than medication failure.. Any dose above 90mg, you are probably reaching near toxic levels and greatly increasing your risk for hypertensive episodes and interestingly hypotension, and numerous other side-effects.
Don't set yourself up for failure! Nardil is a good medication, and works @ 60mg for 95% of people at that dose. Give it time. Few (if any) people need +90mg
The one thing I loved about Nardil, as opposed to the SSRIs, etc, is that I was still able to experience a wide variety of emotions while on it. So there are days where I felt a little more anxious, or depressed, or happy...but gone were the days where I couldn't get out of bed because of depression, or couldn't leave the house because of social anxiety.
