Effexor and ear/throat problems?

hi
I'm on Effexor 75xr and have been for 3 weeks..most of the side effects have calmed down now...but I have pain in my inner ear and the glands in my throat are up...went to Dr and he said there was nothing wrong....thought someone may know here...as Dr really unhelpful and ear pain and throat getiing worse?

It could be allergies and totally unrelated to the effexor. I get it all the time.
