I stopped taking parnate 3 weeks ago - no major side effects until past few days, during which I have gotten headaches, sweat much of the time and have been nauseous and dizzy. Re diet I ate a hunk of cheese after about 2 1/2 weeks and got a bad headache. OK now. The dry out period was supposed to be 2 weeks. Am readying to take lexapro after 20 years on maois and am nervous about s/e, particularly fatigue. Would appreciate any sage/experiential counsel, especially on the parnate withdrawal.
