My diagnosis is OCD + SP.
I have tried Paxil & Celexa; both didn't work, so I'm trying Klonopin (it's been a few days).
It truly calms me down, but my OCD got worse than when I used to take SSRI.
Next week, my pdoc will prescribe me Nardil.
Does anyone know if Nardil has effects both on OCD and SP?
Or, anyone know other treatments to these concurrent symptoms, OCD + SP?

Klonopin and Nardil will have little effect on OCD.The SSRIs, anafranil and effexor are the standard treatment.
MAOIs get used as a med after trying others. Perhaps your doc thinks your mood is most important to treat?

Zoloft has worked the best for my OCD. It really does calm me down and stop obsessing. Now I only clean the house every OTHER day! LOL! I never had any luck with the benzos for OCD. I hope you find one that works for you, I totally understand how frustrating and draining living with OCD can be.

For me prozac has been the wonder drug.
I guess everybody's different... SSRIs help a lot of people, as does Anafranil, as somebody has pointed out.
I know somebody for whom the SSRIs didn't work, and she got a good relief from her anxiety from Buspar.
