My Dr gave me presc for Effexor for Panic Attacks/Anxiety. The previous drugs I tried made me more anxious and panic-y, such as Prozac, Lexapro, Zoloft. I havent got it filled yet, kinda scared to. Any help? Thanks Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, I took effexor for 7 yrs for panic and depression - worked well for me.
I noticed it worked fairly quickly but they do say 2-4 weeks.
