Hi, I started 50mg of Lamictal 2 nights ago and I've noticed I am getting headaches. Has this happened to anyone when increasing their dosage of this med?
I also noticed that I get very sleepy about an hour after I take them (I take 50mg at once at night) Has this been common for anyone else here?
Does it go away? I don't usually get headaches.

Yes to the headaches. Yes they went away.
No sleepiness for me.
Most of my side effects went away within a couple of weeks, including the shoulder muscle tightness, and fluish feeling. The only really permanent side effect is interference with sleep/waking v. early. But there's ways around that.
