Has anyone ever drank alcohol while taken an tricyclic antidepressant? Would it be harmful? I have drank on ssri's with no problem.

When I was younger, before ssri's came out, I took tricyclics and drank alot, and nothing ever happened.

I had no serious problems in drinking with tricylics. But the day after I used to be depressed and the hang over was worse (than without). I think that tryciclics and alcohol was a very good combo for me !
