How to combine nicotinamide/Enada NADH?

Posted by btnd on May 30, 2003, at 17:36:25

What would be the best way to combine those 2 supplements?

Enada NADH at 5mg (coated) definitely releaves my dysthymic symptoms, but it is pretty expensive. And it also induces slight anxiety.

I've read Larry's post which mentioned that niacinamide(nicotinamide) "transforms" into NADH when taken orally.

I'd take some niacinamide every day, but only take some NADH every 4-7 days (or when your gut tells you "It's time."). I believe your intuition is a good guide for stuff like this, though you may feel better using a calendar.

What I meant was that niacin/niacinamide are precursors to NADH. So, taking the former should help reduce the burden on the latter, unless you have a genetic defect or something like that. I think you'll need less NADH if you use niacinamide regularly, in other words.

Thanks Larry (as always :) ! (n/m)
