Has anyone taken provigil to augment treatment with paxil or any other
SSRI? Studies seem to show promising results with this but
provigil is only approved for narcolepsy I think. I have been
taking paxil CR (37.5mg now) for about 5 weeks without
any real improvement that I can tell. I am seeing a new
psychiatrist today and am thinking about suggesting this idea.

I take Provigil 100mg with 40mg Prozac and 100mg Wellbutrin. I have been felling great since I have been on the combo. My pdoc gave me the Rx for the Provigil. I tried samples first of course. Provigil normally comes in 200mg so I split them. Good luck.

I take Prozac (60mg) and Provigil (400mg). The Provigil didn't seem to be doing very much until I added Strattera into the mix. Wow! What a difference. Energy, motivation, patience etc. I also take Lithium (1200mg), plus other things for the many side effects. I have been in a depression for 14 months (Total apathy and no energy). A little relief is so welcome.
