First dose of Lithium was taken today. As per usual I was initially scared that it was going to exacerbate my derealization and anxiety. Over an hour after 1st dose, everything feels dandy as candy. In fact, I feel even more calm and happy than usual, but this could easily be a placebo response.
I took 250mg (which after tommorow will be 500mg), I have pronounced diaphoresis (sweating) a lot now, even though i'm in a cool university library. Is this normal?
Usually I take my Nardil 30mg bid at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, give or take 30mins-1 hour. I took it today earlier at 10.20am, and the Lithium at 10.56am. (see my obsessiveness!)
Do you think it matters when or not I take the Nardil or Litium. Could I take them 5 mins apart? After a while my 500mg Lithium will become a single dose.
BTW, do you think 500mg is sufficient? This, or even less, is uded in augmentation according to my extensive studies.

Lithium is an excellent goose for MAOIs- I used 300 mg max with Parnate and it made me very happy. I took it at bedtime, and it probably doesn't really matter when you take it. Every body's different, see how it goes When I was on Nardil I had hot flash type things- it'll mess with your body temperature.
In theory, the lithium may help you reduce the Nardil dose- you are the Nardil champ, that's a lot! I was on Tegretol with Nardil, worked great but now it's a contraindicated pairing. Oh Well. Good luck.missliz

From one complusive to another, that would be *tid* dosing. Didn't point this out to make ya mad, just thought you would like to know other are *funny* about stuff too. Best to ya man.
