I am looking to get off risperdal. I tried to switch to geodon and had a horrible experience- extreme anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations that were not there before. I'm wondering if I might have the same reaction to abilify? Are they different chemically?

I don't know much, my pdoc says they are similar, but different enough that if one doesn't work the other one may. I started with abilify, and that worked great for about a month, and then boom, I was a wreck. So I switched to geodon a couple of days ago, hopefully it will work.

abilify works much better for me than geodon, I got anxious on geodon. I take 15mg every a.m.
