Hi, I was on way too many meds for my liking....wellbutrin,prozac,nuerontin and topamax all at the same time. I have been on a very gradual decrease for three months now. I am totally off Prozac, nuerontin and topamax. I am now just taking 200mg of wellbutrin a day. Here's my problem. I had started losing weight b4 topamax (excercise and diet and no alcohol),once I started topamax I lost a TON more weight. I did not really think it was due to the drug because I still had a great appetite and was working out all the time. I still workout like a fiend and all of a sudden have put on 10lbs.! I don't understand how when the only thing that has changed is going off my meds. Has anyone else experienced this? Does Topamax increase your metabolsim or something and now mine has decreased? What's up?????Also any replies re: going off all meds would be great too. Smile! (or try too :-) )Do I need to get back on to re-stabilize my wieght?

Topamax does cause some people to lose weight. Quitting it may have caused a rebound effect for you.

yeah I figured I lost it due to the topamax I was wondering if others have had that rebound effect.
