Hi---I'm giving reboxetine a try . Been on it for 4 days now. The first day a took 2mg twice--I had a very good effect --mood elevated , clearheaded, energetic. Hmmm sounds good :) . Now by the 4th day I'm unsure if I should continue,I'm having headaches, tiredness can't think too well and my standing bloodpressure is poor, but my pulse is elevated. I was quite enthusiastic that first day obviously now I'm at a bypass ---I can't really afford to feel like this very long as I've pretty much simply stood in bed last couple of days. My prediction is reboxetine will most likely be out the window but I might try it for a few more days. Good luck if you decide to try it-- it might work great!! :)BTW -- my daily dose has been 6mgs (2mgs tid)

Hi Dennison!
glad to know that someone else is on rebox too.
This is the second day i'm on it (4 mg/d) and, currently, i feel very high: this afternoon i was with a mood elevation, energetic, full of intention to act...i think i could climb Everest!
Only this evening (as it is now here in Italy) i had a momentaneous lapse of energy, but it lasted only an hour.
Now i'm "ready" too.
I think we should give rebox a good trial, cause it's one of the few drugs that don't give somnolence or sex side effects (i've read).
I do not know why it gave you such bad feelings, parhaps they gonna fade in future days (I hope).
So let keep us informed on our trials, i will post tomorrow about my situation and i hope i'll feel like today!
Good Luck!!
dave

Hi dennison,
unfortunely you were ringht!
At the third day i was drammatically pooped-out: tiredness, unfocused wiew, bad thoughts, bad mood, lack of energy during all the afternoon.
In the evening things got better, i think cause the effect of med desappeared and its s/e too.
In any case i will go on and try to be on the trial for 10 days, cause i've read that rebox will begin to work (if it WILL work) in less than 2 weeks.
I'll keep posted.
Bye
dave

Hi-- Yea I'm afraid that's exactly how it's going with me too. Tired,my bloodpressure on standing has dropped 30 pts. also, I'm having trouble doing much of anything. It's too bad that what occurred on the first 2 doses 2mg each on the first day---which was wed. wasn't the pattern of things to come. That first day the response was very good I was quite encouraged, now I don't feel there's much hope as far as reboxetine is concerned. I'll stick with it a few more days--!! OK --I'll update tomorrow hang in there :):)......................................................................Oh I forgot-when I took my bloodpressure in the standing position my pulse was 125, :( --that really made my hopes sink as tachycardia has been listed as a rather frequent side-effect.

Hi,
i passed from 4 mg o.i.d. to 8 mg b.i.d., and things seems to go better.
I think i discovered the way how rebox works (on me):
from 2nd to 6th hour after taken pill it gives to me a brightner mood, more energy, more desire to project, more activity in doing things. The hart pulse is faster (up to 110 b/min) but the blood pressure level is normal (90/120).
I smoke more cigarettes (hope you don't smoke!), but in may case it is a signal of more brain activity and allertness.
from 7th to 12th hour, the activating effect disappeares for an quietness effect and relax effect. The hart pulse is normal again (90 b/m).
After 13th hour everithing seems to be normal again. I think that, cause the short life of rebox, after 1/2 day begin the withdrawal simpthoms, so you must take another dose for not to exit from therapy.
If things will prosecute in this way, i think i'll be able to complete the rebox trial.
If there will be changes i will post them!
How is your trial going?
Let me know something.
Bye
