So, this is what Bob Dole feels like? I can't conjur up a woody anymore. Could it be the 800 medications I'm taking - all of which mostly cause apathy and "deflation" of the sex drive? Great. So now what??!?!? I've never had this happen to me before. I'm dead from waist down! I'm only 30!
UGH. Depressed. Can't sleep. Hate life. And now this....
If anyone ever tries to tell you hell isn't on earth - give them an SSRI, Lamictal, Dexedrine and a penis pump.
What's next? Maybe my anus will close up - like a zipper. Nothing IN and nothing OUT.
Oh sh*$.

I'm not laughing at the other part. Losing your sexuality to meds is truly awful.

It would help to know what meds you are one as
there are solutions. Suspect any SSRI's, for one.

>My p-doc suggested Viagra (I'm 19, that's weird) to me when I mentioned my new ssri was causing um, problems.
But I gave my soldier another month to get in line, and sure enough he pulled through. Apparently SSRIs only do this for the first two months for me and then things are back to normal. But if you haven't gotten a new SSRI in the past few months, I'd bring it up with your doc.
Obviously, Viagra can only help if the problem is blood flow, not libido. For some reason the media never seemed to tell people this... Ever realize how 3rd grade late night comedians are?

>Lexapro 20mg, Lamictal 50mg, Dexedrine, 60mg, Aciphex, Zyrtec, Singulair, Advair, Combivent, Ativan, Ambien - and electricity.
I've been on meds on and off for 11 years - never had I had a problem pitching a tent. I barely have ny desire- but when I do - Mr. Happy moves into FlacidVille and stays there.
Ugh..

Oh totally. No drug since Prozac has been the subject of so many lame & misinformed jokes.
This is the end of the thread.
