well i did all the paper work, tracking moods, etc. and now i'm informed that i have to be off of benzos for 8 weeks before i can be in the study. i DON'T think so. my pdoc told me he pretty much knows the formula so we're going to give a home brew a shot. so that's the lastest guys. take care, judy

It has been particularly interesting watching my pdoc evolve into a more holistic approach to psych disorders; while he always stressed the importance of therapy- he has become deeply involved in alternative medicine. when i first went to see him i was on 6 meds- now i take benzos daily, but all other meds are prn. he was the one who suggested truehope, and also offered to call them because he knew i would be a mess if i went off benzos. but since i want him to continue monitoring me, i felt i would try his 'mixture' first. i'll continue to post and share my new regime. take care, judy

I don't understand either- perhaps I became part of a 'human' study when I thought i was simply purchasing a product. The way it's set up though is once registered (which involves a lot of paperwork), there is the mood tracking, and telephone support with a tech asst. which is all very nice since the majority of these assts. have/had bipolar disorder. I think they were given a grant (I have trouble concentrating on reading material, so please forgive me) and perhaps all 'customers' become part of the study. again, this is not necessarily a bad thing since they do give support via phone or through your doc and once taking the supplement you have to stay in touch to get off the bipolar meds (except apparently benzos which are in the category of getting off before starting). I hope i didn't confuse you any more than i already am, but since i'm going through my pdoc now i guess it's moot. take care, judy
P.S. I think the address was support@truehope.com
