HI

I take 40 mgs at nite only. I dont know what
antidepressnat dose is reallly. I know Im on a very low dose. I havent noticed much cognitive change, though I have had problems focussing but I think I was already having this problem due to depression already. I dont know if this helps. I havent noticed a lot of help with social anxiety, but like I said, Im on a very low dose that seems to wear off in the early afternoon. I have noticed that Im more manicky and a little more energetic. What is SP stand for?

I was on Geodon a while back. I had taken MAYBE 4 pills, and I kept having terrible heartburn and indigestion. I went to my doc and it turns out, either the Geodon triggered GERD or completely caused it. Now I have to take Axid to control my reflux disease! My doc said that it definitely had something to do with the Geodon, and he thought the Geodon had actually caused GERD. In any case, I was really glad I paid attention to my body's signals, or I would have worse damage to my esophagus.

Sienna, Thank you for the info. SP=Social Phobia. I dislike this problem I've had so much that I prefer to abreviate it.. My appologies. The antideppresant dose I have been told is usually below 60mg. while the antipsychotic dose usually starts around 80mg.

Hi
I see. I have SP too, but not terribly bad. Though I stay home a lot partially because of it and partially because of plain old anxiety. Maybe its agoraphobia, but I dont think its that. I guess Im on an AD dose but im supposed to be taking it for an AP. No wonder Im still paranoid. Anyway, Geodon seems like a pretty good drug, it helps me not be as depressed, and doesnt have too much side effects but the sleep problems, which i think are solvable with taking the dose at the right times. (it gives me insomnia).

Lawrence

I took Geodon and it improved my motor skills and cognitive function greatly. I never suffered from psychotic symptoms, just a pretty severe depression. The dose ranges from 20 mg twice a day to 80 mg twice a day. It helped a lot with everything, but it kept me up a while if I took it before bed because it has an activating ingredient in it. Unfortunately, I had to stop it due to a complicated side effect. But I never experienced a better medicine in terms of concentration, visual thought, and emotion control.

Later,
Charlie
