I wouldn't think that combo would be too safe, but my major question is...What is parnate not doing for you that you're hoping serzone would?
Basically, what didn't parnate alleviate? Thanks.

I was given serzone with nardil several years ago to try to boost the effect. (partly because I could only tolerate a low dose of nardil).
The combination made my blood pressure too low, although I did get some good anti-depressant effect from it.
My doctor *was* willing to combine the two. More conservative doctors may not. You might try to do a google search and see if there's anything written about that combination.

I was thinking about switching over so I asked my pdoc about cross tapering Serzone with Parnate. He said he didn't feel that there was enough of a track record to attempt it but he didn't out and out reject that it was possible to use them together.
Are you still having anxiety at your present dosage on parnate or are the side effects intolerable? Maybe you could drop the dose by say 5mg or 10mg for a few days to see if it lessens the adjitation without reducing the effectiveness. You might experience a little anxiety rebound for a day or so you'll have to wait for that to dissapate to see where you are on a lower dose.
