Sorry again the language -

But for every one of these clear cut posts -
probably 5 more out there have tardive EPS

And none of them sued ...
why?

Because they don't have what it takes to win.

Dr's will win that stuff because their records stand over psychiatric patients ...

The answer is ... STAY OFF A/P SHIT!!!

Chad

ps: I may expose 2 psychiatrists and 2 neurologists, each who gave me an antipsychotic first causing , then worsening tardive movements in myself. I was fortunate.

A "movement disorder specialist" at UCLA - a famous "bipolar" Dr. near UCLA - and a psych + neuro in Orange County - all may be exposed in mass via my website - with all the details. I eventually got things pretty straightened out - fortunately - and in time things hopefully back as before - I am lucky consering - most not ...

Dr. Leo Treciokis - (an old man not too bright)... UCLA "movement disorder" specialist. This guy shut me up as soon as I mentioned "Zyprexa". Places like Stanford will not even *accept any* cases in litigation - meaning any drug induced case ... the Dr's don't want to waste a day or 2 in court - apparently they are "too important".

Amazing - at UCLA Neurological and "Patient Relations" about 4 people lied - behaved unethically to me to support Treciokis' lies and BS - they booted me out of UCLA clinic due to my legally correct and ethically responsible compaints regarding Mr. Treciokis. He was "referring neurologigist" to Gerner - that was the likely sticking point - he did not have a problem with amisulpride from earlier Dr.

Dr. Robert Gerner - "Expert Bipolar Dr."
(This guy told me that zyprexa is "good for tardive *anything*" DANGEROUS COMMENTS!!!! (Good at masking and quickly making hyperkinetic tardive movements worse!) No wonder so much EPS out there with this stuff going around... I had to tape record this idiot to get him to talk staight to me before dumping him...

Dr. G**** ********, Huntington Beach. I kind of liked this guy - am reluctant to talk here - pretty ethical just made large error in my case...

Dr. Morovati - neurologist, Santa Ana - so bad I'd have a hard time describing here ....

Chad ...

feeling better and things getting behind me now ...

I'm filling in for him while he is away, as you might have learned already from my "Please be Civil" to you above for using language that might be offensive to others. And your post just above would also fall under that "Please be Civil".

I hope you choose to abide by the rules of the site and so choose to continue to post while Dr. Bob is away.

I really appreciate your cooperation in keeping the site running smoothly while I'm filling in.

I was given Benadryl 50mg I.V. in the ER for a dystonic reaction to Stelazine year ago. The dystonia stopped within seconds after the injection. They sent me home with 25mg capsules of Benadryl to take 4x daily for three days. If you are getting significant EPS symptoms from your AP, you might want to see if you can switch to an AP that doesn't cause it.

hope this helps,

Mitch

Hi Borderline,

I'm afraid I can't advise but I was just wondering which anti psychotic brought on the EPS. I know you were talking about taking Zyprexa, was this the drug that induced EPS?

Are you saying you copied posts (which you do not own copyright to) and put them on your website ?
I am a little confused by your subjects.

Hi Oracle -

Nothing at my website from here...

By subjects - you mean the overall message or the parties involved? I was typing pretty hasty - I can imagine that msg. may not have been real clear to read....

I hope you at least realize you come off sounding like a loud mouth...

if you're cool with that, you won't try to say anything back...

then again, the thoughtless are rarely speechless.

Dinah here, filling in for Dr. Bob while he's out of town.

Please don't post anything that others could take as an accusation or a put down. Here is a link to Dr. Bob's civility guidelines.

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil

And I'd like to add a reminder that if there are further violations of the civility policy after a "Please be civil", I'll have to impose a one week block from posting.

I appreciate your cooperation in keeping the site running smoothly until Dr. Bob is back.

And any follow ups to this post or discussion of administrative matters should take place at the Psycho-Babble Administration board. Follow the links at the top of the page.

Thanks,
Dinah

Well - I DID type in caps! Plus I was warned - yes I imagine I came off that way to some people here. Oh well... My message was sincere though.

McPac -

They could sue I guess for libel or slander - but since I can prove I am telling the truth - they won't. I don't know what they think - neither when they were my negligent Dr's, nor afterward - except that both took too long to release my records - Treciokis took almost 3 weeks (1 week max is law) - and purged some stuff before finally releasing them...
