Last week i called my doctor and she increased my daily doasge from 100 to 150mgs due to concerns over suicidal ideations. The increase has helped tremendously with the 'bad thoughts', however i am experiencing a s/e which i can only describe as 'twitching' or like i've consumed 100 cups of coffee. I want to call her back and see if there are better options, either returning to the lower dose or changing meds. Does anyone have suggestions for an alternate med? Thanks.

I would call her back and explain what is going on. I believe a sedative like xanax for a few weeks until you adjust tot the increased dose might be better than trying to switch from a med that is working.
This is the end of the thread.
