have been taking 30mg of paxil and 200mg wellbutrin for ocd/depression for six weeks. I developed this uncontrolable urge to move especially when Im at rest. At night I'll lay there and just want to kick my legs something awfull. The drugs help my ocd/depression but this is intolerable. I have a feeling its ssri induced rls, but not sure. solutions/answers much appriciated.

Klonopin is used most successfully for RLS. Mirapex might help. My sister has horrendous RLS from Prozac-she has to sit on her legs to keep them still! I got it the worst from Zoloft. Wellbutrin caused it a little bit too. The only AD I have tried that seems to clearly settle it some was Serzone.

hope this helps,

Mitch

Hi:

Sounds like it may be possibly also a bit of Akathesia, but regardless, you should get to a doctor asap. A benzodiazepine would work very well to calm this, esp since you are on fairly high doses of antidepressants. You should not just have to 'live' with it, as it is very detracting to your quality of life and mental health.

Good luck..

Jay
