I had a hearing,the lawyer told me the Social Security judge did not like me,and the judge said that I could work as a shepherd in montana,he did not care if i was employable, asked ocupational therapist if i could do something,his doctor said my case is curable and he never treated me or new almost anything about my illness. This really happened. I was denied , I cant work i have severe problems.
If it happened to you what did u do?
What should i do?

Well, these people to begin with, know _nothing_ about the pain and suffering of depression, so it doesn't surprise me. What does your own doctor say, and what treatment are you on? Do you find it helpful, or having a hard time finding the proper meds?

I'm not sure if Dr. Bob will let me post a website for you but here goes: go to Braintalk.org. They have a forum just for social security discussion. The people there should be able to answer most of your questions. I'm so sorry you are having to go through such a rough time to get SSDI.

i'm going to move this over to social because Dr. Bob would SAY SO!!! ;) and you should get more responses there. well, i was going to, but i'm not seeing the way to do it...

I'm about to go through this whole thing myself. Went to the braintalk.org site and didn't see anything jump out at me about the disability forum. Can you give me some more info on where to find it?
