That was quite an increase in dose! Why don't you let your pdoc know and go up to 1200 for a few days, then 1500, etc. That should give your body a chance to adjust. Take care- Judy

Judy,

thanks for your response. it really was quite an increase, but self-prescribed, in a way: i see a high-priced pdoc to get the best medical advice i can; i then go to a city pdoc who hooks me up with free meds (i tell him what the smarter, not-free pdoc says i should have). i probably jumped up to 1800 sooner than either doc would have titrated me up to. it's just that i don't see the city doc for another week and a half and couldn't wait to change it myself. i've been at 1800 for 2 days--do you think it'll be detrimental for me to take only 1200 tomorrow?

ah well, i've not got job or school right now, a few days of land-of-the-lotus-eaters isn't that bad, IMOHO...

thanks judy...how is your pregnancy going? if you feel comfortable doing so, come post on PSB...

love,
sar

Hi Sar,
I don't think you'll have any problems decreasing to 1200 since you've only been at 1800 for 2 days- and that should help a lot with sedation. I'm doing quite well so far- thank you for asking. The last trimester is usually hell for me, I will post on PSB. Take care and I hope neurontin helps- Judy
