Does anyone know of any research and/or case studies and/or anecdotal experience of this?
When I was on Prozac, it was just about the only thing that would *sometimes* let me have sensation at pre-medication levels, with an -- get this -- actual orgasm in there every once in a while.
The only probs were it was illegal, hence a little pricey, and I'd have to smoke quite a bit of it - enough to make my lungs take notice and enough to cause a hell of a paranoid reaction on one occasion (which made me stop smoking altogether).
Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar or contradictory stuff happen w/them...

"There is considerable evidence, reviewed by Hall et al (1994), that performance in heavy, chronic cannabis users remains impaired even when they are not actually intoxicated. These impairments, especially of attention, memory and ability to process complex information, can last for many weeks, months or even years after cessation of cannabis use (Solowij, 1998)."

Kathleen - Perhaps the pot was relaxing you enough to enjoy the experience (isn't that a quaint euphemism).

i have the most amazing orgasms when i'm stoned. i've no idea why. it just turns out that way. i'm not at all a regular smoker, but i appreciate the sleepy/sexual side-effects of pot.

Dittos to everything Sar said above. I believe cannabis can be a great sexual aid. But, using it more often than once a week can create more problems than it solves.
