i am currently taking 75mg effexor xr and 35 mg of remeron at night for anxiety and depression.I am drinking alot of beer every day almost.i know this is dangerous,but how dangerous?i have been on these med for about 2 weeks now and feel very anxious and agitated.i drank to get rid of the anxiety.will this continue?

I also have the same problem. I take remeron to help me sleep and I also drink almost every day! The drinking makes my anxiety/panic attacks 5x's worse. When I drink, I feel fine. Until the next morning....I wake up and my heart races so fast and I just feel like $hit. The combination of remeron and alcohol hasn't really caused any harm {yet}.... The anxiety is just worse in the morning! Try not to drink for a few days and notice how your anxiety is not as bad. When you do drink again... notice how it is 5 x's worse!!! *Cynthia*
