Suicidal depression and Horrible Feelings

Posted by kathyy on August 20, 2001, at 11:59:10

Does anyone else have horrible feelings after coming off of meds like paxil, etc. Feelings of intense regret that you'll never get better, suicidal thoughts constantly. These feelings never let up and it's now 5 months later. I'm seeing psychiatrist and nothing is working. I also have muscle tesion, jaw clenching, eyes unable to focus alot, etc, as effects of ativan/celexa drug reaction. But I feel that nightmare stull was brought on my paxil.

Dear Kathy,

I am sorry to hear that you are suffering and I am surprised that after five months you are still going through withdrawal problems. Would you ever consider going back on paxil?

Sal - Have you had training in suicide counseling? On what is your advice based: religion? call 911? Be careful, you are setting yourself up for a lawsuit. - Cam

I'm having an intense deja vu experience.

Was nothing resolved, then? Ought you two to run this past Dr. Bob?

Certainly life and death matters should be handled in some better way than the occasional thread.

Love you both,
Zo
